Hi, I’m Megan!
Batches by Megan is a custom cookie company based in the Houston metro area. My business began in 2020 with a very unexpected cookie idea.
My brother had just finished his PhD, and while thinking about how to celebrate such a big accomplishment (remotely over Zoom) I found myself looking at one of his complicated mathematical visualizations and thinking, that would make a really good cookie.
So I decided to give it a try.
With help from a college roommate, I taught myself how to work with royal icing, designed a cookie inspired by his research, and made him a batch to celebrate. What started as one very nerdy celebration cookie quickly turned into something I absolutely loved. Before long, friends and family were asking me to make cookies for their own celebrations, and Batches by Megan was born.
Since then, my little cookie business has followed me as my husband I moved from North Carolina to Arizona to Texas, creating custom cookies along the way for all kinds of wonderful occasions.

I love creating cookies that feel like a part of the celebration itself. Whether you're planning a wedding, welcoming a new baby, celebrating a birthday, preparing for a Baptism, or simply looking for a thoughtful gift, I love taking your ideas and turning them into something you can actually share, display, and enjoy.
Every order is made by hand, from the first design idea to the final details of the royal icing. My goal is to create cookies that are not only delicious, but also feel personal and special to your event.
Custom & Seasonal Cookies
Throughout the year, I offer custom cookie orders as well as seasonal collections.
Custom orders are perfect for weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, Baptisms, back-to-school gifts, bridal showers, corporate events, and all of the little celebrations in between.
For major holidays including Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Easter, and the Fourth of July, I also offer special seasonal collections. These standard designs allow me to make a little something sweet for as many customers as possible during the busiest times of the year.
Batches by Megan operates under the Texas Cottage Food Law.
